Not everyone has the wonderful privilege of meeting their ‘true love’ during their lifetime. There are some people who believe they are meant to wonder this world aimlessly alone. Finding ‘true love’ can often times feel like you are trying to win the lotto or a large jackpot in Vegas. Luckily, I was one of the fortunate winners.
I married my husband on September 4, 2006, in what seemed to most like a rushed wedding. There was no baby on the way and there was no reason for a rushed wedding. In most ways we are exactly alike but at the same time we are completely different. We complete one another.
There are not any rules to follow that will ensure a happy marriage. There are not any rituals you could do on your wedding day to make you ready for the road ahead. The only thing you could do is cherish every moment you have with one another.
Show the world ‘true love’ really does exist and enjoy the journey.
